WMagazin is an online literary magazine that is targeted at a cultured and specialized readership. The magazine’s contents center on literary critiques, chronicles of events, and interviews with writers and other professionals from the publishing industry.
The project started with the definition of the magazine’s content tree and structure. At the same time, a selection of typographies was made and the design process got underway for the different templates. On the whole, the design revolves around one of the magazine’s key concepts: reading for enjoyment. To this end, we focused on creating very usable and legible designs.
The typographies, the spaces and the soft colors, reinforced by the contrasting black and white, are the main resources we used to create a somber, elegant and serious aesthetic that reflects the magazine’s philosophy.
